Who doesn’t love the classic book Rainbow Fish? Erin Bittman shares 5 fun and simple activities that I think your kids will love. This blog, part of a site called WeareTeachers, is filled with ‘…laughs, lessons and all kinds of resources to get you through the school year with a smile on your face (your kids too) …’ WeareTeachers includes education bloggers, resources, grants and contests, hot topics and education directories.
Oh my goodness…the Little-Giants blog is adorable! Ms van der Spuy, a teacher in New Zealand, creates fun projects with lots of pictures. She just posted Maths Challenge – Estimate, Learning about Perseverance (LOVE THIS!) and Learning a New Waiata in Kapa Haka (whaaat?) So glad I found this site – you will be too!!

A group of 28 students share learning in two large open classroom spaces. You’ll find lots of science and great pictures including Wow Factor Science (I want to try this one!) and Freezing Temperatures experiments. You can send a voice message to the kids. Great idea!!
